The NEW Thorpeness Suite has now been completed and available for bookings. This room, originally our family room has received the Diane and Steve decorating and upgrade treatment! The decoration has brought the room to the 21st century with new bed linen and curtains. A 37" flat screen tv has been installed and a docking station for iPone music lovers. With new lighting in the shower en-suite and a lite-mirror our guests can enjoy the suite extras to match the Southwold Suite.

New Landlords

In December 2009 we - Steve and Diane - became the new landlords of The Angel Inn; straight into the hectic festive season, without a moment to catch our breath... or even unpack the removal boxes.

Since taking over we've made some small changes to the public areas with further plans to create a lounge where residents and locals can relax in comfort. 2010 has already seen the launch of Curry Night which was a fiery success.

Southwold Suite gets a makeover

We recently completed the refurbishment of our flagship room, the Southwold Suite, giving it a lighter colour scheme, a new bathroom, and a bigger TV with DVD. In keeping with the room's new status, we now provide bath robes for guests' use.

This is the first of many refurbs we have planned for the other rooms to elevate them to suite status, as we strive to gain another Visit Britain star to take us from 4 to 5!
